About the job
PeopleCert is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Events Associate to join our Growth team. You will work with a dynamic, talented team that develop and deliver end-to-end B2B and B2C global marketing strategies to promote PeopleCert brands worldwide through Events and Partnerships.
Being a member of our Growth-Marketing department, reporting to the Head of Events, you will have overall responsibility for the successful integration of digital and physical conferences/events into the marketing mix and will contribute to the development and execution of the wider events strategy.
As a Senior Events Associate, your tasks will include the following:
Understand business requirements, plan, organise, coordinate and oversee conferences, events and webinars, maintaining a comprehensive and up-to-date annual calendar.
Manage resources effectively, ensure timely delivery and lead event execution, delivering post-event reporting and insights while tracking performance against business objectives.
Manage webinar platforms and delivery, supporting lead generation, audience engagement and product promotion, in collaboration with cross-functional teams across the PeopleCert group.
Implement and contribute to conference/event strategies that ensure the best possible representation of PeopleCert and maximise visibility across global audiences.
Conduct continuous research to identify and segment relevant events by product and audience globally, optimising reach, impact and return on investment.
Build and maintain relationships with key event partners, suppliers and stakeholders to support event success.
Continuously enhance the PeopleCert brand experience across events.
Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to improve delivery, engagement and overall event effectiveness.
Provide guidance and support to junior team members where required.
Ensure their work and presence are aligned with company’s core values — quality, innovation, passion, integrity, clarity, and velocity.
What we look for:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Events Management, or a similar discipline (Postgraduate degree considered an asset).
Minimum 7 years’ experience in Events Management, ideally in a fast-paced, international environment.
Familiarity with virtual event platforms is considered an asset.
Excellent organisational, coordination and negotiation skills.
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Adaptive, flexible and self-driven, with the ability to operate in a high-volume, fast-paced global environment.
Strong prioritisation and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to think strategically and connect the bigger picture while maintaining attention to detail.
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver complex projects independently.
Excellent command of the English language (C2 level certification desired, LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus); additional languages are a plus.
Advanced computer literacy is required. ECDL Advance level certification is desirable.
