About the job
As a Waiter at ORA, you will be responsible for providing exceptional table service, ensuring guests enjoy a seamless and memorable dining experience. You will act as a knowledgeable ambassador of Ettore Botrini’s cuisine, guiding guests through the menu and pairing recommendations while maintaining One&Only’s world-class hospitality standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Provide elegant, efficient, and personalized service to guests.
Possess in-depth knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and preparation methods to offer expert recommendations.
Guide guests in selecting food and beverage pairings, enhancing their dining experience.
Maintain a polished and professional presence, ensuring that every guest feels valued and attended to.
Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth and precise service.
Uphold restaurant cleanliness and presentation standards, including table settings and mise en place.
Handle guest requests, special dietary needs, and any issues with grace and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
Contribute to a positive and dynamic team environment, supporting colleagues when needed.
Skills, Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Waiter in a fine dining, luxury hotel, or Michelin-starred restaurant.
Strong knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine, fine dining etiquette, and wine pairings.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, guest-focused approach.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-end dining environment.
Well-groomed, polished, and professional appearance.
Fluent in English; additional languages (Greek, French, or Italian) are a plus.
