About the job

The Onassis Foundation is looking for a highly organized and proactive professional to join its premium retail destination, as Assistant Store Manager.

The new culture-led retail initiative brings together premium multi-brand retail categories, evolving collaborations, and space for fashion to exist in proximity to cultural production, performance, discourse, and contemporary thought within a single, coherent environment.

He/She will support the Store Manager in the daily operation of retail concept, ensuring efficient retail operations, effective stock management, team supervision, and the seamless execution of retail activations and customer experiences.

 Main responsibilities:

  •  Support the day-to-day operation, ensuring excellent customer service and the achievement of sales and operational objectives

  • Oversee stockroom activities, inventory accuracy, replenishment processes, deliveries, transfers, and stock loss prevention

  • Supervise, support, and guide the retail team, allocating daily tasks and maintaining high operational standards

  • Coordinate visual merchandising updates, seasonal installations, and store presentation to ensure an engaging customer environment

  • Support the management of shop-in-shop partners and the successful delivery of Ready-to-Wear (RTW) activations and retail initiative

  • Assist in the planning and execution of workshops, events, and customer experiences, ensuring smooth operational delivery

  • Ensure compliance with store procedures, cash management processes, health and safety requirements, and operational best practices

Requirements:

  •  Degree or diploma in Retail Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in retail operations, including experience in a supervisory or team leadership role

  • Experience in inventory management, stock control, and day-to-day retail operations

  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts

  • Excellent communication skills in both the English and Greek languages

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of SAP will be considered an asset.
