Starting with the role:
We are currently searching for Hellenic Hydrogen to hire a Head of Strategy & Business Development.
During your day you will:
Lead the Business Case Assessment, actively participate in the initial phase of Hydrogen Project setup, including Strategic Fit Evaluation, business case development, identification of threats and opportunities, and preliminary cost estimation
Coordinate the development activities related to the company’s projects
Conduct techno-economic assessments to establish project feasibility and validate project’s prospects
Coordinate the Front-End Loading process including the preparation of the projects scope (equipment lists, schedules, general arrangements etc.) and overall project definition
Define Project Scope & Objectives, develop high-level project plans (Resources, Cost & Timelines), identify the stakeholders involved and determine the expected project deliverables
Lead the creation of RFPs and participate in the identification, evaluation and selection of External Advisors (i.e. Engineering Consultants, Legal Advisors, Business Consultants etc.) and/or Contractors
Manage and coordinate the External Advisors and Contractors while preparing management reports to support decision-making and ensure effective project oversight
Monitor and manage project risks and issues, propose mitigation actions, and escalate critical matters to management when required
What you need to stand out:
Bachelor’s degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering related field
Master’s degree in energy related fields would be considered an asset
At least 5 years professional experience in Corporate/Business Development roles within the energy sector
Minimum 2 years of experience in Project Management
Knowledge of Techno-Economic Assessment methodology
Working knowledge on Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Project
Fluency in English (proficiency in writing, reading, speaking)
Strong commercial acumen and understanding of the Energy Sector
Strong communication skills and team spirit
Extrovert, ability to form professional networks
Excellent analytical skills
