What you'll do
- Develop, maintain, and optimize integrated project schedules for pilot and large-scale facilities
- Establish and monitor project baselines, milestones, critical paths, and controls processes
- Use Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent to manage schedules, dependencies, resources, and priorities
- Monitor project progress against scope, budget, and timelines, recommending corrective actions
- Support CAPEX planning, forecasting, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners for timely project execution
- Manage project governance, prepare dashboards, progress reports, and executive presentations
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks related to schedule, cost, and execution
- Drive formal change management processes and evaluate impacts on scope, schedule, and budget
- Escalate critical issues and propose recovery plans to protect project objectives
- Support contractor and EPC performance monitoring via structured reporting and milestone tracking
- Ensure schedule integrity and alignment across FEED, EPC, construction, and commissioning phases
- Participate in project reviews and provide accurate performance data to senior leadership
- Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with governance standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement of planning, controls, and reporting methods
- Capture lessons learned and support development of best practices for future projects
Key requirements
- 6+ years' experience
- Project planning and scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project
- Project controls including scope, schedule, cost, risk, and change management
- Analytical and reporting skills with project governance knowledge
- CAPEX planning, forecasting, and cost control expertise
- Stakeholder management and communication skills
- Organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

By joining this role, you’ll play a critical role in planning, coordinating, and controlling the successful delivery of strategic industrial projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, governance requirements, and operational objectives.
Your role will encompass:
• Developing, maintaining, and optimizing integrated project schedules for both the Pilot Plant and future large-scale industrial facilities.
• Establishing and monitoring project baselines, milestones, critical paths, and project controls processes.
• Utilizing project planning tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent) to manage schedules, dependencies, resources, and project priorities.
• Monitoring project progress against approved scope, budget, and timelines, identifying deviations and recommending corrective actions.
• Supporting CAPEX planning, forecasting, and cost control activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinating engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, operations, R&D, finance, and external partners to ensure timely project execution.
• Managing project governance processes, preparing dashboards, progress reports, and executive-level presentations.
• Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks related to schedule, cost, technical execution, and contractor performance.
• Driving formal change management processes and evaluating the impact of scope, schedule, and budget changes.
• Escalating critical project issues and proposing recovery plans to safeguard project objectives.
• Supporting contractor and EPC performance monitoring through structured reporting and milestone tracking.

What you bring to the role:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, or related field).
• 6+ years of experience in project planning and project controls within industrial, infrastructure, energy, mining, metals, chemical, or EPC environments.
• Proven experience across the full project lifecycle, including FEED, EPC, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Strong knowledge of project planning and scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of project controls, including scope, schedule, cost, risk, and change management.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and project governance skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written).
Considered an asset:
• Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
• Experience in large-scale industrial plant construction projects.
