What you'll do
- Develop and implement construction strategies for hotel projects, renovations, and expansions
- Ensure projects align with brand standards, operational requirements, and financial targets
- Update and monitor project KPIs for schedule, budget, quality, and safety
- Oversee project lifecycle from feasibility through construction and handover
- Review and approve construction schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Collaborate with structural, MEP, civil, architectural, interior planning, procurement, and sustainability teams
- Work with Operations to minimize disruptions during renovations or openings
- Coordinate with Health & Safety to enforce safety standards during all project phases
- Lead, mentor, and develop construction managers, engineers, and site teams
- Manage external consultants, contractors, vendors, construction budgets, contracts, and procurement
- Control costs, manage variation orders, and value engineering proposals
- Identify and manage risks and opportunities affecting project budget and timeline
- Collaborate with Legal and Procurement for contract and service provider management

About the job
Develop and implement construction strategies for new hotel projects, renovations, and expansions, and ensure all projects align with brand standards, operational requirements, and financial targets.
Update and monitor project KPIs for schedule, budget, quality, and safety, and oversee project lifecycle from feasibility and design development through construction, commissioning, and handover.
Review and approve construction schedules, budgets, and resource plans in liaison with the Central Services Dept.
Work closely with structural team, construction team, MEP, Civil, Architectural, Interior planning and procurement central services teams, as well as with Sustainability team to integrate design and technical requirements.
Collaborate with Operations teams to ensure minimal disruption during renovations or openings, and collaborate with the Health & Safety dept to ensure that safety standards and principles are applied, monitored and controlled during all phases of project.
Lead, mentor, and develop construction managers, engineers, and site teams, manage external consultants, contractors, and vendors, manage construction budgets, contracts, procurement, cost control measures, variation orders, value engineering proposals, and manage any potential risks and opportunities in liaison with the Central Services Dept for their impact on the project’s budget and timeline, including collaboration with Legal and Procurement Depts for contracts and services providers.
What will you bring?
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, and 12+ years of experience in project/construction management, with significant experience in hotel or hospitality projects.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, with proven experience in construction project leadership and strategic planning.
Extensive experience in guiding teams and handling complex, multifaceted projects.
Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines, with a collaborative mindset to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strong experience in executive-level reporting, and background in construction, or hospitality developments preferred.
Fluent English and Greek required.
