What you'll do
- Execute daily operations supporting OCC & Gateway functions within KN Network
- Perform duties timely and efficiently adhering to quality standards
- Engage in critical thinking and on-the-job decision-making
- Strive for operational excellence and continuously enhance capabilities
- Set status for KN-controlled and non-KN-controlled shipments
- Review and update route maps
- Communicate with carriers, agents, and KN stations via phone and mail
- Report inefficiencies and carrier responsiveness
- Report exceptions and tag tasks accordingly
- Prioritize workload based on global SLA and KPI standards
- Report system and process deviations
- Maintain operations following policies and procedures
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing expected results
- Drive continuous improvement and optimization of activities
Key requirements
- Air Logistics knowledge and shipment monitoring
- Communication skills including third party phone and email communication
- Critical thinking and on-the-job decision making
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
- Adherence to policies and procedures, workload prioritization, exception reporting, and process improvement

About the job
We are looking for a dedicated and highly motivated GS Air Logistics Operational Care Specialist to join our Status Setting team within GS Air Logistics.
The purpose of the role is to execute the daily operations and support towards the OCC & Gateway functions within KN Network.
