What you'll do
- Create food and wine pairings that enhance the dining experience
- Present wines to guests, including their regions and winemaking processes
- Deliver attentive wine service, including appropriate temperatures and glassware
- Keep beverage lists updated and presentable
- Track wine stock and submit orders
- Maintain the cellar and preserve wines
- Use POS systems to process transactions
- Upsell wines and beverages to guests
Key requirements
- 2+ years' experience
- Sommelier expertise, Wine knowledge, WSET Level 2
- Food and wine pairing, Wine presentation, Wine service
- Wine list management, Wine stock management, Cellar maintenance, Wine preservation
- POS systems, Micros, Upselling
- Customer service, English language proficiency
