What you'll do
- Troubleshoot and resolve 2nd level production incidents within SLAs
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) to identify and prevent recurring issues
- Enhance and optimize monitoring and alerting systems using Nagios, Grafana, NewRelic
- Collaborate with Development, DevOps, and QA teams to improve system stability
- Reproduce incidents in test environments and validate fixes before deployment
- Manage problem tracking and ensure continuous service improvement
- Provide guidance and technical support to junior team members
Key requirements
- 4+ years' experience
- Application Support and System Administration skills
- Proficiency in Linux system administration; Windows experience is a plus
- Experience with MySQL and familiarity with Oracle or MongoDB
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Nagios, Grafana, NewRelic
- Automation and scripting expertise with Bash and Python
- Strong root cause analysis (RCA) and problem tracking abilities
- Effective collaboration and communication in Greek and English
- Test environment incident reproduction and mentoring skills

As a Senior Application Support Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and smooth operation of our applications. You will handle complex production issues, contribute to system optimizations, and mentor junior team members. Your responsibilities include:
Troubleshooting and resolving production incidents at the 2nd level within the agreed SLAs.

Job requirements
To excel in this role, you should:
Hold a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Have 4+ years of experience in Application Support, System Administration, SW-QA, or DevOps.
Possess strong system administration skills in Linux (Windows experience is a plus).
Be proficient in MySQL and familiar with Oracle or MongoDB.
Have experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Grafana, or NewRelic.
Be comfortable with automation and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) for troubleshooting and optimization.
Communicate effectively in both Greek and English.
Be a team player who values collaboration and knowledge sharing
