As a Digital & Technology Risk Consultant / Senior Consultant, part of EY Consulting’s team in Greece, you will help clients navigate the complexities of the IT and emerging technologies landscape. By focusing on risk management aspects of information systems, technology transformation, and the wider space of digital and emerging technologies, you will support clients in safeguarding their operations and maintaining a competitive edge.
Your key responsibilities
Participate in projects to assess and manage risks associated with information systems, technology transformation and the adoption of emerging technologies.
Develop, document, and implement Digital & Technology Risk Management and control frameworks.
Manage data risks, maintaining appropriate data quality and governance standards.
Ensure compliance with digital, technology and data related regulatory requirements and international standards, optimizing compliance costs while maintaining robust controls.
Participate in digital, technology and business process reviews, including evaluation of the design and operation of application and general IT controls, reporting to management, stakeholders or supporting our clients’ digital & technology internal audit function.
Engage stakeholders through compelling presentations and discussions, fostering a collaborative environment for idea exchange and consensus building.
Maintain meticulous records and documentation, ensuring clarity and consistency across all project deliverables.
Keep up to date with the latest trends and developments in Digital & Technology Risk Management.
Skills and attributes for success
University degree in information technology, data science, digital & emerging technologies, business, accounting, engineering, or other related fields. An MBA or relevant Master's degree is desirable.
Willingness to learn and continuously expand technical and business skills in the area Digital & Technology Risk Management.
Excellent business writing and verbal communication skills both in Greek and English.
Travelling availability and potential work on projects abroad.
Strong analytical skills and conceptual attitude.
Ideally, you will also have
Professional qualifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISK, CISSP, ISO 27000, ISO 20000, ISO 9000, ITIL, or other related to Digital & Technology Risk Management.
Knowledge of IT architecture and network design, operating systems, database management systems, statistics, modelling, and data analytics tools.
Understanding of business processes (e.g., Finance/ Accounting/ Financial Reporting, Procurement, Sales, etc.).
Knowledge of business and accounting information systems (Accounting, Billing, Payroll, ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, etc.), and/or Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) information systems.
