What you'll do
- Lead the design and delivery of scalable, cloud-native data architectures including lakehouse, streaming, and batch processing solutions
- Translate complex business and functional requirements into robust technical designs collaborating with stakeholders and solution teams
- Mentor and guide engineering teams promoting best practices in data engineering, Cloud platforms, DevOps, and CI/CD
- Conduct data discovery and assessment workshops providing architectural guidance on integration, transformation, storage, and access
- Drive technical leadership across end-to-end project delivery ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines
- Manage stakeholder expectations, prioritize technical workstreams, and oversee concurrent engagements focusing on quality, scalability, and sustainability
Key requirements
- 5+ years' experience
- Experience in Data Architectures including Data Lakehouse and Data Warehouse
- Knowledge of leading cloud data platforms such as Azure Data Fabric, AWS Redshift, Databricks, Snowflake, Cloudera
- Strong skills in data modeling and advanced data engineering frameworks and patterns
- Team leadership and mentoring abilities
- DevOps practices including CI/CD implementation
- Analytical, problem solving, critical thinking, and advanced communication skills in Greek and English
- Technical writing skills and ability to manage stakeholder communication
- Self-motivation, continuous development, and knowledge of AI and analytics
- Computer Science / Mathematics / Engineering / Quantitative fieldspreferred
