What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data pipelines using Azure cloud technologies
- Build and optimize data warehouse solutions for reporting, analytics, and business intelligence
- Develop robust ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources
- Collaborate with business users and analysts to translate reporting and analytical requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure data quality, integrity, governance, and security across the data platform
- Develop and maintain semantic models and datasets to support Power BI reporting
- Monitor and optimize data platform performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
- Work closely with solution architects and development teams to align with enterprise data architecture and best practices
- Produce and maintain technical documentation for data models, pipelines, and processes
- Support production environments by troubleshooting issues and implementing continuous improvements
- Mentor junior team members and promote engineering best practices
Key requirements
- 6+ years' experience
- Azure Databricks with PySpark and Delta Lake for scalable data engineering solutions
- Microsoft Azure data ecosystem including Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
- SQL Development with query optimization and performance tuning
- Python Programming for data engineering and automation
- ETL/ELT Processes and Data Warehouse Solutions employing dimensional data modeling
- Power BI development including semantic models, DAX measures, optimization, security, and governance
- Data Governance including data quality, security, and metadata management
- Agile Methodologies for delivery and collaboration
- Performance Tuning for large scale data platform optimization
- Computer Science / Information Systemspreferred
