What you'll do
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions
- Design and implement database schemas to support business needs
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all databases
- Monitor and tune database performance to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Collaborate with application developers and business analysts to translate requirements into database solutions
- Document database processes, scripts, and standards for internal knowledge sharing
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- SQL development with SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
- Database design including normalization and optimization techniques
- Complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions
- Data integrity, backup and recovery, and database security best practices
