What you'll do
- Greet and welcome guests promptly in a warm and friendly manner
- Escort guests to their tables
- Thank and give farewell to guests, encouraging future visits
- Ensure prompt and courteous service throughout the meal
- Attend to guests' needs and preferences
- Provide menu information and answer questions about food and drinks
- Record transactions and orders using Point of Sales (POS) systems
- Perform shift closing and tally cash and credit card settlements on POS terminal
- Keep the restaurant clean and organized in front and back areas
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages
- Communicate kitchen regarding menu questions, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests

About the job
At Domes Resorts the Waiter/Waitress A’ provides excellent customer service and ensures an enjoyable dining and drinking experience for the Domes’ guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and attending to guests' needs throughout their meal.
Some of the responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests promptly in a warm and friendly manner, escort them to their tables.
Thank and give fond farewell to guests conveying anticipation for their next visit.
Ensure prompt and courteous service throughout the meal, attending to guests' needs and preferences.
Provide menu information and answer questions about food and drinks.
Record transactions/orders in Point of Sales (POS) systems at the time of order.
Perform shift closing on the Point of sales (POS) terminal and tally cash and credit card settlements.
Ensure that the restaurant is always kept clean and organized, both at the front as well as the back of house areas.
Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
Communicate with the kitchen regarding any menu questions, as well as additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requests.
Requirements
Useful to have:
High School degree or vocational training in a similar field is preferred.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role in a luxury hospitality environment will be an asset.
Good knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Conversational English level and familiarity with POS system.
