What you'll do
- Greet and welcome guests promptly in a warm and friendly manner
- Escort guests to their tables
- Thank guests and convey anticipation for their next visit
- Ensure prompt and courteous service throughout the meal
- Attend to guests' needs and preferences
- Provide menu information and answer questions about food and drinks
- Record transactions and orders in Point of Sales (POS) systems
- Perform shift closing on POS terminal and tally cash and credit card settlements
- Ensure the restaurant is kept clean and organized
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for timely delivery of food and beverages
- Communicate with kitchen about menu questions, meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests
Key requirements
- 1+ years' experience
- Customer service skills and communication abilities
- Familiarity with Point of Sales (POS) systems
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- English language proficiency at conversational level
- Organizational skills for planning and multitasking
- Team coordination and interpersonal skills
- Hospitalitypreferred
