What you'll do
- Greet and welcome guests promptly in a warm and friendly manner and escort them to their tables
- Thank guests and give a fond farewell to encourage return visits
- Ensure prompt and courteous service throughout the meal, attending to guests' needs and preferences
- Provide menu information and answer questions about food and drinks
- Record transactions and orders in Point of Sales (POS) systems at the time of order
- Perform shift closing on the POS terminal, tally cash and credit card settlements
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in front and back of house areas
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages
- Communicate with the kitchen about menu questions, additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests
Key requirements
- 1+ years' experience
- Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills
- Point of Sales (POS) Systems knowledge
- Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Sanitation Regulations
- Ability to Work Under Pressure and Organizational Skills
- Communication Skills
- English Language Proficiency
- Generalpreferred
