What you'll do
- Greet guests warmly, escort them to tables, and provide a friendly farewell.
- Deliver prompt, courteous service and attend to guests’ needs and preferences throughout the meal.
- Provide menu information and answer questions about food and drinks.
- Take orders and record transactions in Point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Close the Point-of-sale (POS) terminal and reconcile cash and credit card settlements.
- Keep front- and back-of-house restaurant areas clean and organized.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Communicate menu questions, allergies, dietary needs, additional requirements, and special requests to the kitchen.
