What you'll do
- Welcome guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and provide a friendly farewell.
- Deliver prompt, courteous service throughout each meal and respond to guests’ needs and preferences.
- Provide menu information and answer questions about food and drinks.
- Record orders and transactions in Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Close the Point of Sale (POS) terminal and reconcile cash and credit card settlements.
- Keep front- and back-of-house areas clean and organized.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely food and beverage delivery.
- Communicate menu questions, additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
Key requirements
- 1+ years' experience
- Customer service and English communication
- Food and beverage service, order taking, and menu knowledge
- Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash and credit card settlement
- Health and safety regulations and sanitation regulations
- Kitchen and bar coordination; handling dietary requirements and allergies
- Multitasking, planning and organization, and attention to detail
- Hospitality Managementpreferred
