What you'll do
- Greet guests with a friendly and professional attitude to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Manage guest flow by seating guests according to preferences and minimizing waiting times
- Handle guest reservations in person, by phone, or through online booking systems
- Assign tables to balance guest flow and optimize restaurant efficiency
- Recognize and prioritize VIP guests, providing preferred seating and personalized service
- Maintain accurate reservation records using digital or manual systems
- Communicate with servers and management to ensure smooth operations
- Inform staff about special requests, VIP guests, or seating changes
- Coordinate seating options with waiters
Key requirements
- 1+ years' experience
- Conversational English and familiarity with OPERA system
- Ability to work under pressure with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills and customer service competencies
- Ability to build relationships within and between departments
- Proactive management and organization with attention to detail
- Reservation management including phone and online booking handling
- Guest greeting and reception skills
- Handling VIP guests and staff coordination
- Hospitality / Generalpreferred
