What you'll do
- Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring
- Cook and plate dishes according to recipes and instructions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and equipment
- Dispose of waste and clean work surfaces during shifts
- Store raw materials properly to ensure quality
- Monitor ingredient stock levels and report replenishment needs
- Coordinate with kitchen team to ensure smooth workflow
- Report equipment, order, or supply issues to Head or Sous Chef
- Train newer team members in beverage preparation and customer service
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation regulations, and kitchen procedures
- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and allergen management
- Ingredient preparation, storage, and stock monitoring
- Time management and organizational skills
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Culinary Artspreferred
