What you'll do
- Assist in preparing ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring
- Cook and plate dishes according to established recipes and instructions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen including cleaning equipment and workstations
- Keep kitchen clean and organized during shifts, disposing of waste and cleaning surfaces
- Store raw materials properly to ensure quality and monitor stock levels for replenishment
- Coordinate with kitchen team to ensure smooth workflow and report equipment or supply issues
- Participate in training newer team members in beverage preparation and customer service
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations
- Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation regulations, and allergen management
- Skills in ingredient preparation, stock management, cleaning, and maintenance
- Effective teamwork and communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in English language
