What you'll do
- Prepare and cook diverse dishes ensuring quality, taste, and presentation
- Follow standardized recipes and adjust portion sizes as needed
- Monitor food quality throughout cooking and adjust seasonings
- Collaborate with chefs to develop new dishes and seasonal menus
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Mentor and train junior cooks and kitchen staff
- Share knowledge of cooking techniques and best practices
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and comply with food safety regulations
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- Advanced cooking skills and culinary techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation regulations
- Recipe standardization and menu development expertise
- English language skills and computer literacy including MS Office
- Strong teamwork, training, mentoring, and organizational skills
- Effective time management
- Culinary Artspreferred
