What you'll do
- Define technical specifications for new packaging materials
- Confirm compatibility of new packaging materials with packaging lines and review improvements
- Plan, supervise, and evaluate trials for new packaging materials
- Create new packaging material codes in the ERP system
- Develop packaging material specifications for new artworks and confirm cutting dies for existing materials
- Manage artwork flow between suppliers and Approval Department to ensure final approval
- Support creation of packaging instructions for new products
- Participate in design and implementation of new packaging lines including trials and technical specifications
Key requirements
- 2+ years' experience
- Packaging materials technical specification and compatibility assessment
- Trial planning and supervision for packaging materials
- ERP system management including creation of packaging material codes
- Packaging artwork management and approval coordination
- Packaging instructions development for new products
- New packaging lines design and implementation experience
- MS Office proficiency and ERP/SAP knowledge
- English language proficiency
- Industrial Design / Engineeringpreferred

As part of our continued growth, the company is seeking a talented candidate for the position of Packaging Engineer. The position is based in Kryoneri, Attica.
Defines the technical specifications for new packaging materials.
Confirms the compatibility of new packaging materials with packaging lines, including machinability, and reviews potential improvements or changes. Plans, supervises, and evaluates trials for new packaging materials.
Carries out the necessary actions to create new packaging material codes in the ERP system.
Creates and defines packaging material specifications for the development of new artworks and confirms cutting dies for existing materials.
Manages the artwork flow to and from suppliers and the Approval Department, ensuring that the final approved artwork is sent to the supplier.
Supports the creation of packaging instructions for new products.
Actively participates in the design and implementation of new packaging lines, including trials and technical specifications for materials.
Requirements
Degree in a technical field, Industrial Design, or another relevant discipline.
At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar packaging role within an industrial production environment.
Very good computer literacy, including MS Office and ERP/SAP knowledge.
Excellent command of English.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities.
Speed and accuracy in task execution.
Excellent communication skills.
Collaboration and teamwork.
