What you'll do
- Understand each event’s requirements and implement new concepts and ideas
- Manage event costs efficiently within the provided budget
- Source suitable vendors and negotiate with them
- Coordinate staffing and event creation with hotel line managers
- Cooperate with and direct hotel staff to meet each event’s needs
- Maintain the highest standards of guest care
- Provide friendly, efficient and courteous service
- Supervise weddings and events discreetly before and during their execution
Key requirements
- 2+ years' experience
- Event planning, coordination and supervision
- Vendor sourcing and negotiation
- Budget and cost management
- Client communication and English language proficiency
- Hotel staff coordination and guest care
- Time management, organizational skills, multitasking, critical thinking and results orientation
- Hospitality Management / Business Administration / Any Fieldpreferred
