What you'll do
- Provide remote support for vessel ICT systems, PCs, satellite communication systems and networking equipment
- Support users and troubleshoot daily issues at first level
- Manage access and security levels and install applications
- Support client networks using Windows Server and Client, Microsoft 365 and navigational software
- Support systems infrastructure including Hyper-V, virtual machines, Windows Server, Active Directory and DNS
- Support network infrastructure, including FortiGate firewall configuration and Layer 2 switching
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- Vessel ICT systems support and onboard vessel IT experience
- Windows Server and Client, Microsoft 365 and Application installation
- Hyper-V, Virtual machines, Active Directory and DNS
- FortiGate firewall configuration, Layer 2 switching and Networking equipment
- Satellite communication systems
- First-level user support and Access and security management
- Computer Science
