About the job

Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement and supplier management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.

 

You'll play a key role in ensuring the success of procurement activities, from supplier selection to contract negotiation, while driving project excellence. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Regional Procurement, Platform & Project Teams, Supplier Quality, Supply Chain, Legal, and Finance), support commodity strategy development, and much more.

 

You’ll specifically take care of setting up the supplier selection process and managing supplier relationships but also contributing to strategic sourcing initiatives.

 

We’ll look to you for:

 

  • Preparing and launching Requests for Quotation with suppliers

  • Leading project negotiations

  • Monitoring procurement project QCDT (Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Technical) and legal project evolution

  • Ensuring work package commitments are respected

  • Preparing Business Awards

  • Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct

  • Coordinating projects with all relevant stakeholders

  • Supporting the development and implementation of commodity strategies
