About the job

Your day to day will include:

 

  • Identifying opportunities for technological advancements and improvements in the digital retail space such as in-store kiosk, beacons, digital signage, interactive displays, LED screens, audio-visual distribution, lighting & energy management systems, etc.
  • Conducting thorough research to propose cutting-edge digital solutions, exploring ways to elevate OPAP’s retail network & premises digital capabilities with transformative technology.
  • Participating in pilot projects to test and evaluate new solutions before large-scale rollouts.
  • Providing technical support during rollout phases
  • Monitoring quality and operational performance of existing store hardware equipment and infrastructure 
  • Creating detailed electrical design plans and comprehensive equipment/infrastructure manuals.
  • Preparing technical specifications for tender processes, guiding vendors through assignments, and tracking the implementation of solutions to completion.
  • Coordinating with other internal teams (e.g. Technology) and external vendors for the delivery of the assigned digital projects

 

What you need to succeed: 

 

  • BSc in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related fields; MSc is preferable
  • 3+ years of experience in digital electronics, system integration and retail technology solutions
  • Familiarity with retail technology (e.g. digital signage, CMS platforms, digital kiosks, traffic counters and interactive displays)
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize effectively and multi-task
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Teamwork and cooperation
  • Achievement orientation 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in Greek and English languages (oral & written)
