The role supports the growth of software and services at Hilti by collaborating with local, regional, and global partners, researching new business opportunities, and working with sales teams.The purpose of the role is to assist in growing and supporting software and services with local, regional, and global partners at Hilti. The role involves researching new business prospects by running customer surveys for product development and working with sales teams to develop local strategies. The job holder needs to maintain knowledge of assigned product portfolio and related services. Scope: Anchor job in Solution Selling structure. The Service Consultant is the “Service Business Partner” of Account Managers in the field, helping them develop their skills in phase of pre-qualification and in selling an on-site analysis on their Focus Customers. From the on-site analysis onwards, the Service Consultant becomes a “Solution Consultant” by helping customers in identify opportunities and designing a tailor-made solution that will both create value for the customer while reinforcing the perception of Hilti as a top partner in the eyes of the customers, as to improve the business relationship between both parties. The position reports to the&nbsp;Electrical Department&nbsp;Μanager.&nbsp;The primary scope of this role is to plan, coordinate and monitor the maintenance and repair of electronic and automation systems, ensuring their effective operation.Responsibilities<ul><li>Troubleshoot, Maintain and Upgrade electronic and automation equipment as well as software applications, required to manufacture cement; also, to provide relevant guidance to engineers, technicians and CCR operators to ensure flow continuity of production process</li><li>Maintain safe and clean work area at all times; Ensure workplace safety through implementation, adherence and enforcement of company business standards, as well as safety and development programs; Plan, coordinate and ensure safe operation of subcontractors</li><li>Manage preventative and corrective maintenance schedules and completion for all electronic, PLCs, software and network equipment, components, and installations to achieve safe and uninterrupted operation</li><li>Oversee the work performed by staff and contractors as required for each job to ensure completion in a timely and quality manner</li><li>Maximize equipment availability using efficient and proactive preventive maintenance programs.
