This role will also support our internal operations and maintenance teams by providing technical guidance and problem-solving expertise related to VPP connectivity and system performance.<h2>During your day you will:</h2><ul><li>Provide timely and effective technical support to customers regarding their interconnection to the VPP platform.</li><li>Assist customers with onboarding, configuration, and integration of their renewable energy assets (solar, wind, storage, etc.) into the RES aggregator platform.</li><li>Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to communication protocols, data exchange, telemetry, and control commands between customer equipment and the VPP.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, operations, IT) to escalate and resolve complex technical problems.</li><li>Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to the internal operations and maintenance (O&amp;M) teams regarding VPP interconnection, communication issues, and system diagnostics.</li><li>Support O&amp;M teams in analyzing system performance data, resolving operational incidents, and optimizing connectivity to ensure platform reliability.</li><li>Develop and maintain documentation including troubleshooting guides, FAQs, and onboarding procedures for customers and internal teams.</li><li>Monitor system performance and alert customers and internal teams proactively on potential issues impacting their interconnection.</li><li>Support training sessions and webinars to educate customers and internal teams on platform capabilities and best practices.</li><li>Continuously update technical knowledge related to VPP technologies, communication standards, and renewable energy systems.</li></ul><h2>What you need to stand out:</h2><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Renewable Energy, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)</li><li>Master Degree in related fields will be considered an asset</li><li>2 years of experience in technical support or engineering roles within the energy, utilities, or renewable energy sectors preferred</li><li>Experience with SCADA, energy management systems (EMS), or DERMS platforms.</li><li>Knowledge of cloud platforms and IoT architecture will be considered a plus.</li><li>Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices in energy systems connectivity.</li><li>Fluency in English (verbal and written)</li><li>Proficient in all MS Office software especially Word, Excel, Power Point</li><li>Accountability and Reliability&nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;Our Compass is the #ACTION#A_uthenticity#C_ompassion#T_eamwork#I_ntegrity#O_wnership#N_ever giving up&nbsp;&nbsp;What gives us energy:<ul><li>Friendly and fast paced environment, being always at the heart of the #action</li><li>Continuous learning to empower our teams</li><li>Career Development opportunities across the Motor Oil Group</li><li>Competitive compensation package</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;*We @Motor Oil Group are an equal opportunity employer.Our hiring decisions are based solely on qualifications, merit, and business needs.
