Intellectica is recruiting a motivated Quality Control Engineer on behalf of a leading designer and manufacturer of high quality pumps and systems, used in a large variety of water applications with exports to 100 countries. Based in Kryoneri, Attiki, the successful candidate will report to the Head of Production and work closely with the engineering and sales team to ensure that all products and activities meet the required specifications and quality standards.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
Overall responsibility for ensuring that products, materials and manufacturing activities comply with defined quality standards, technical specifications and customer requirements
Performing incoming, in‑process and final quality inspections on raw materials, components and finished products
Inspecting dimensions, tolerances, materials and functional characteristics of pumps and related equipment
Monitoring and supporting performance testing, pressure testing and final acceptance tests
Conducting and/or supervising Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT) activities (e.g. PT, MT, UT), evaluating results and ensuring compliance with applicable standards
Identifying non‑conformities and deviations, investigating root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Maintaining accurate quality documentation and records, including inspection reports, material certificates, test results and NDT reports
Supporting the implementation and monitoring of ISO quality management systems and internal quality procedures
Working closely with Production, Engineering and Machining teams to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives
Participating in internal and external audits, inspections and customer acceptance processes, as required
Any other task that may be required from time-to-time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline
3–5 years of professional experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Hands‑on experience in quality inspections, measurements and testing of industrial or mechanical products
Familiarity with technical drawings, specifications, tolerances and material requirements
Experience with Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT) methods (e.g. PT, MT, UT) or exposure to NDT processes will be considered a strong advantage
Knowledge of ISO quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001) and internal quality procedures
Experience in handling non‑conformities, root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
Good command of quality documentation, inspection reports and technical records
Good knowledge of MS Office tools
Fluency in Greek and English
Core competencies of a successful candidate:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex quality issues
Strong documentation and reporting skills
Detail-oriented with a passion for maintaining high standards of quality
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across teams
