As a Payroll Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the precise and timely execution of all payroll-related processes (monthly, ad-hoc, bonus) across the organization. You will also support the creation and submission of payroll reports and accounting/tax articles in accordance with legal and tax frameworks, as well as management requests.&nbsp;Your day to day will include:•&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Handling the accurate and timely execution of all payroll processes (monthly, ad-hoc, bonus) for all OPAP companies. •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Ensuring compliance with labor and tax authorities while executing payroll procedures. •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Calculating monthly payroll based on updated employee and HRMS data, including absenteeism, overtime, shifts, allowance deductions, and end-of-service. •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Implementing reward policies and practices according to employment contracts, collective agreements, and OPAP standards. •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Preparing and submitting records and reports to social security and tax authorities, in compliance with legislation. •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Acting as the first point of contact for payroll-related queries and providing necessary support and clarifications. •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Participating in payroll system updates and ensure compliance with technical requirements. •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Preparing payroll cost reports as requested by management and providing necessary clarifications. •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Collaborating with external and internal tax auditors and controllers, providing necessary information for effective auditing. •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Staying updated on labor and tax legislation changes.&nbsp;What you need to succeed:&nbsp; •&nbsp; &nbsp; 1-2 years of experience in payroll •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Proficiency in MS Office with an expertise in MS Excel; Experience with HRMS will be considered an asset •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Knowledge of employment legislation and processes •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Exposure to HR processes and procedures •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Very good communication skills in Greek &amp; English•&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Organizational &amp; time management skills&nbsp;&nbsp;What’s in it for you?<ul><li>An award-winning working environment&nbsp;🚀</li><li>State of the art facilities including gym &amp; restaurant&nbsp;🏢</li><li>Hybrid working model&nbsp;💻</li><li>Competitive salary package and bonus scheme&nbsp;💸</li><li>Health insurance coverage &amp; Pension Plan&nbsp;🙏</li><li>Monthly food allowance&nbsp;🍴</li><li>Continuous learning with classroom/digital trainings by OpapAcademy&nbsp;🎓</li><li>Internal Career Opportunities&nbsp;💼</li><li>Well-Being Activities&nbsp;💪</li></ul>&nbsp;OPAP Group is an equal opportunity employer
