Marine Logistics Coordinator

ELEMKA, as a subsidiary of ΜΕΤΚΑ, has long-term experience in the infrastructure sector, certified buildings, as well complex technical construction projects.We are currently looking for a&nbsp;Site Manager&nbsp;for a building project to join our team based in Thessaloniki.&nbsp;Your role will encompass:<ul><li>Manage and Coordinate all site construction works according to the Contract</li><li>Monitor budget expenses of the construction site</li><li>Ensure safety of site personnel and machinery for the whole construction period. Ensure compliance with all HSE procedures, applicable by law policies and company policies</li><li>Ensure implementation of the project according to applied specs &amp; standards</li><li>Review and monitor construction progress according to the time schedule</li><li>Report to the project management team</li><li>Maintain familiarity and good knowledge of contracts and documents ensuring that all site works are implemented in accordance with Company’s standards and contractual requirements</li><li>Develop effective relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, consultants, and team members</li><li>Cross functional co-ordination with all disciplines and supportive teams/functions&nbsp; incl. engineering, project management, logistics, quality, HSE&nbsp; as per project’s needs</li><li>Defining and updating the detailed construction plan and schedule, establishing priorities where necessary (in cooperation with the planning engineers)</li><li>Identifying problem areas and proposing corrective actions.&nbsp; Communicates concerns back to project management for required resolution and future issue prevention.</li><li>Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation</li></ul>&nbsp;What you bring to the role:<ul><li>University degree in Civil Engineering</li><li>High level technical background in construction</li><li>Proven track record in managing construction sites with a minimum of 10 years’ experience</li><li>Working knowledge of MS Office</li><li>Languages: English &amp; Greek essential</li><li>Organizational skills / Critical thinking and problem solving skills</li><li>Experience with environmental projects will be considered as a plus</li></ul>&nbsp;Your Benefits:<ul><li>Competitive remuneration package</li><li>Group Health Insurance program</li><li>Discount on the household electricity bill</li><li>Pension Plan</li><li>Ticket Restaurant</li></ul>

&nbsp;Job’s PurposeAs a Transportation Shift Supervisor, you will be member of the Transportation Division and you will actively participate and coordinate a large range of transportation operations. The role requires the ability to manage a various team of drivers and cooperates effectively with the stakeholders.&nbsp;A small idea of your daily tasks<ul><li>Ensures, monitors, and checks the availability of the appropriate resources (vehicles, drivers, etc.),</li><li>Coordinates the day-to-day activities/mechanisms regarding the daily delivery processes and the invoicing procedures</li><li>Manages the routing program in daily basis</li><li>Responsible for the distribution optimization of orders</li><li>Conducts regular audits on the delivery processes and equipment</li><li>Monitors regularly &amp; ad hoc the differences between initial routing plan and final delivery route of orders</li><li>Participates in the selection, training and manages the performance evaluation of a team of drivers.&nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;What you have<ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply chain, Business Administration or relevant field.
