We are seeking an&nbsp;Accountant to join our Finance Department. The ideal candidate&nbsp;will play a key role in supporting the company’s accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance with statutory requirements, and timely fulfillment of financial and tax obligations. This position is suitable for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in double-entry accounting, capable of working independently while managing multiple deadlines in a dynamic corporate environment.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Maintain Category C (double-entry) accounting books.</li><li>Record, review, and archive accounting transactions (purchases, sales, expenses, cash and bank transactions).</li><li>Perform myDATA reconciliations and compliance checks.</li><li>Reconcile general ledger accounts, including banks, customers, and suppliers.</li><li>Prepare and submit tax filings (VAT, withholding taxes, VIES).</li><li>Support the preparation of financial statements and periodic financial reports.</li><li>Liaise with external partners (accountants, auditors, tax consultants).</li><li>Monitor and apply updates in tax and labor legislation.</li><li>Contribute to the improvement of internal accounting procedures and controls.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (University or Technological Institute).</li><li>Master's degree will be considered as a plus.</li><li>7–8 years of proven experience in a similar accounting role (experience in&nbsp;a corporate accounting environment or accounting firm will be considered as a plus).</li><li>Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.</li><li>Experience with accounting software / ERP systems (Entersoft or equivalent).</li><li>Excellent command of both Greek &amp; English language (written and spoken).</li><li>Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.</li><li>High level of professionalism, reliability, and integrity.</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Competitive salary, commensurate with experience.</li><li>Stable employment within a structured corporate environment.</li><li>Opportunities for professional development and continuous learning.</li><li>Collaborative and professional work environment.</li></ul>
