We are seeking a dynamic Business Analyst to join our Lending & Risk Management Services Business Analysis Unit within the Group Organization and Business Analysis department.


The Lending & Risk Management Services Business Analysis Unit is responsible for conducting detailed business analyses, outlining problems, identifying opportunities, and proposing solutions for the business, while taking risk assessment and compliance obligations into account including support of risk-related initiatives and processes (e.g., credit assessment, monitoring, and reporting). This includes defining business requirements and reporting them back to stakeholders, executing initial tests, and ensuring that deliverables meet the required standards.


As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for bridging the gap between IT and the business stakeholders, alongside the relevant enablers (e.g Compliance, Operational Risk etc.)


In this role, you will gain exposure to lending transformation initiatives and digital banking projects, contributing to the evolution of the lending platforms and processes. 


Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Liaise with management and stakeholders, performing stakeholder analysis as a prerequisite.

  • Write scenarios and user acceptance test cases, and coordinate with IT to prepare designs for functional specifications.

  • Identify opportunities for improvement in business operations and processes, and design or modify business systems.

  • Interact with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand their problems and needs.

  • Gather, document, and analyze business needs and requirements, modeling business processes, and identifying opportunities for process improvements.

  • Analyze & resolve business problems, document the functional design of the system, and assist in testing the system and creating user manuals and documentations. 

  • Support analysis and implementation of risk-related requirements, including data, reporting, and process enhancements

 

You will be a great candidate if you:

  • Hold a Bachelor's and preferably a prostgraduate degree in Finance, Business Administration, or IT.

  • Have 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience as a business analyst in the lending domain.

  • Are experienced with wholesale applications and/or retail lending and risk management applications.

  • Have a solid understanding and interest in the lending lifecycle.

  • Possess advanced analytical and conceptual skills.

  • Are proficient in the MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)

  • Have excellent command of English and Greek (both in writing and verbally)
    Have strong interpersonal and communication skills, a collaborative spirit, agility, and a can-do attitude.

  • Hold or are in the process of obtaining professional qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, CBAP, SIX SIGMA LEAN), which will be appreciated.

  • Familiarity with credit risk concepts, data, or regulatory frameworks (e.g., IFRS9, Basel) will be considered an asset.
