As Financial Risk Supervisor, you protect AB’s financial performance and assets by identifying, assessing and managing key risks across various critical areas such as insurance, property and supplier credit. You act as a trusted partner providing clear, data-driven insights that enable risk-aware decisions and support a resilient, compliant business.What you will focus on<ul><li>Leads the end-to-end risk management cycle, coordinating the identification, assessment and validation of key risks with all stakeholders and ensuring alignment with the organization’s risk appetite and tolerance.</li><li>Acts as a trusted advisor to management and business teams on risk-related matters, providing decision support, recommendations on mitigation measures to control or reduce risk and input on contract terms and change initiatives.</li><li>Owns the Insurance &amp; Claims Management process, defining risk financing with insurance, coverage needs and overseeing contracts, provisions, payments and claims handling.</li><li>Handles Property Risk Management &nbsp;and participates in Business Continuity activities, including site risk assessments, insured values for property, business interruption coverage and follow-up on action plans.</li><li>Supports the financial closing process, by managing insurance and claims provisions and ensuring compliance with Group Insurance and relevant policies.</li><li>Oversees supplier credit and financial risk, leading structured supplier evaluation, coordinating updates to the Credit Policy and maintaining review &amp; update on payment card data protection controls and awareness and other topics together with Treasury, business information providers and stakeholders.</li></ul>Who we are looking for<ul><li>Academic background in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.</li><li>At least 5 years of experience in Risk Management, Finance, Insurance or related roles, ideally within a corporate, retail or FMCG environment.</li><li>Solid understanding of risk management frameworks, financial analysis and core concepts such as insurance &amp; claims, credit risk and supplier financial risk, business continuity and internal controls.</li><li>Experience working with relevant tools and systems (e.g. Excel, SAP, reporting tools).</li><li>Fluent in English.</li></ul>Your Value<ul><li>Organizational Savviness | Develop a thorough understanding of food retail, Alfa Beta’s governance &amp; control environment.</li><li>Stakeholder Management &amp; Collaboration | Constructively challenge and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, building strong, trust-based relationships.</li><li>Critical &amp; Analytical Thinking | Effectively analyse all related information and data to quickly conclude on sustainable, risk-aware solutions – numerical proficiency is your strength.</li><li>Results &amp; Quality Orientation | Take ownership of your actions, be on top of tasks and ensure high-quality, accurate deliverables in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Organizational Mastery &amp; Time Management | Prioritize tasks effectively, uphold precise documentation and adhere to deadlines while handling multiple projects.</li></ul>We care for you&nbsp;<ul><li>Hybrid way of Working</li><li>Free lunch break in our restaurant</li><li>Available parking</li><li>Lifelong learning and development</li><li>Wellbeing Program&nbsp;</li></ul>A place where everyone belongs &nbsp;We strive to be a better place to work where our people reflect the markets we serve, where their voices are heard and valued, they find purpose in their work and can grow and contribute to their fullest.
