This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on next-generation trading and financial infrastructure.You’ll collaborate closely with a talented team working across multiple layers of our technology stack—driving innovation, performance, and reliability at every level.Key Accountabilities<ul><li>Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C code</li><li>Implement performance and quality modules</li><li>Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems</li><li>Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.</li></ul>Knowledge and experience<ul><li>BSc degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or other science degree</li><li>At least 3 years of professional experience in similar roles in software development using C programming, Linux IPC &amp; network programming (sockets)</li><li>Experience in using software development environments like VS Code using C programming language</li><li>Good knowledge of software engineering principles, methods and techniques including Object – Oriented Design and Programming</li><li>Good understanding of memory management in non-garbage collected environments</li><li>Good understanding of messages queues and shared memory implementation in Linux</li><li>Professional experience with bash, csh and/or Python scripting languages.</li></ul>Nice to have<ul><li>Postgraduate degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or other science degree</li><li>Experience in developing software in Financial or Banking Sector</li><li>Experience in C++ programming</li><li>Experience in DevOps techniques, methodologies and tools like the following<ul><li>Gitlab and gitflow</li><li>Static Code Quality Analysis Tools</li><li>Automated Code Building (CMAKE)</li><li>Unit Testing and End to End testing</li></ul></li><li>Other CI/CD techniques like DevSecOps</li><li>Knowledge and experience in the use of web-based development tools, n-tier architecture, design and software implementation</li><li>Experience in creating technical documentation.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competences<ul><li>Eagerness to learn and adopt new technologies</li><li>Solid collaboration skills and the ability to work autonomously</li><li>Strong communication skills, both verbal and written</li><li>Fluency in both Greek and English</li><li>Fulfilled military obligations (for men).</li></ul>What we offerAt Athens Exchange Group, we highly value our employees and provide them with a work environment that fosters creativity and personal growth.
