Project Engineer

The American College of Greece (ACG) is seeking a qualified and dynamic professional to join the Advancement Office as Manager, Advancement – Alumni. The successful candidate will manage and support programs that strengthen Alumni engagement, increase giving, and foster a culture of philanthropy and connection among ACG Alumni, parents, friends, and staff.Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage selected Alumni programs and support others, including alumni groups and engagement platforms, to expand outreach, participation, and giving in alignment with Advancement strategic goals.</li><li>Collaborate with the Executive Directors on the development of new and the expansion of existing alumni engagement and fundraising programs targeting prospects in Greece and abroad</li><li>Plan, organize, and implement alumni, fundraising, and stewardship events both locally and internationally (e.g., alumni chapters), ensuring successful execution under the guidance of the Executive Directors.</li><li>Support fundraising and development initiatives.</li><li>Supervise and guide Advancement Office student assistants.</li><li>Support the Communications Manager with alumni-related engagement activities and campaigns.</li><li>Assist with daily operations and administrative processes within the Advancement Office.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director – Alumni.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing/Management, Public Relations, or a related field.</li><li>6–8 years of related professional experience &amp; 2–4 years of experience in customer service or stakeholder engagement roles.</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Greek and English.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)</li><li>Basic understanding of CRM systems, databases, and digital engagement platforms.</li></ul>Required Skills:<ul><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>Excellent project management, event coordination, and organizational abilities.</li><li>Analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to handle complex and confidential information with discretion.</li><li>Familiarity with fundraising principles and donor stewardship.</li><li>Basic budget and vendor management skills.</li></ul>Other requirements:<ul><li>Willingness to attend Advancement Office events in Greece and abroad as required.</li></ul>
