Currently, we are searching to hire an Accounting&nbsp; Head who will oversee financial accounting operations to ensure accurate recording of transactions and compliance with accounting standards for CORE innovation’s Group of Companies.Also, part of day to day will be to provide reliable financial information and strategic insights to support decision-making and optimize operational performance at Core Innovations Group of companies.<h2>During your day you will:</h2><ul><li>Prepare accurate financial statements such as P&amp;L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulations (Greek GAAP and IFRS).</li><li>Supervise and review monthly - end closing process tasks (reconciliations, inventory tasks, GL, AP, AR, Fixed assets, IFRS, etc.)</li><li>Oversee master data process</li><li>Oversee Group consolidation process of Financial Statements</li><li>Oversee the tax provision process and ensures tax compliance</li><li>Identify and implement process improvements in financial accounting procedures to optimize efficiency and accuracy.</li><li>Lead the Accounting Team by providing mentorship and fostering professional growth to enhance team performance and accountability.</li><li>Communicate financial results, analysis, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders to support decision-making.</li><li>Monitor cash flow and liquidity and make recommendations for improvements if needed.</li><li>Review and advice regarding ERP system and reporting tools development</li><li>Conduct research on new tax laws, regulations, and court rulings is essential.</li><li>Suggest improvements in financial reporting processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.</li><li>Indicate cost-saving opportunities and financial risk management strategies.</li></ul><h2>What you need to stand out:</h2><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Economics, Finance or Business Administration</li><li>MBA or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field would be considered a plus</li><li>At least 8 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role</li><li>In-depth knowledge of IFRS, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards</li><li>Expertise in developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures</li><li>Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).</li><li>Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems for financial management.</li><li>Excellent communications skills both verbal and written, in Greek and English languages</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills to address complex financial and operational challenges</li><li>Analytical thinking ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;Our Compass is the #ACTION#A_uthenticity#C_ompassion#T_eamwork#I_ntegrity#O_wnership#N_ever giving up&nbsp;&nbsp;What give us energy:<ul><li>Friendly and fast paced environment, being always at the heart of the #action</li><li>Continuous learning to empower our teams</li><li>Career Development opportunities across the Motor Oil Group</li><li>Competitive compensation package</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;*We @Motor Oil Group are an equal opportunity employer.Our hiring decisions are based solely on qualifications, merit, and business needs. Head of Accounting

Currently, we are searching to hire a&nbsp;Fixed Assets Accountant for recording the cost of newly-acquired fixed assets (both tangible and intangible), tracking existing fixed assets, recording depreciation, and accounting for the disposition of fixed assets to join the Finance team.<h2>During your day you will:</h2><ul><li>Be responsible for the processing of asset capitalization, maintenance, retirement requests and setup or maintenance of the assets in the Fixed Asset module in SAP</li><li>Perform the monthly depreciation runs to ensure that depreciation accounting is completed in a timely manner</li><li>Track the compilation of project costs into fixed asset accounts, and close out those accounts once the related projects have been completed.</li><li>Be responsible for the reconciliation of Fixed Asset Register via General Ledger</li><li>Be responsible for the Prepaid Rents analysis, related accounting entries and reconciliation</li><li>Participate in audits as required</li><li>Be involved in business projects as FA focal point</li><li>Be responsible for various accounting activities such as month end, reporting, manual journal entries, and reconciliations</li></ul><h2>What you need to stand out:</h2><ul><li>University Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline</li><li>2-3 years of working experience in similar position will be considered an asset (fixed assets accounting)</li><li>Strong knowledge and experience of fixed assets and General Ledger</li><li>Excellent knowledge of MS Suite (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Visio)</li><li>Knowledge of financial systems, preferably SAP</li><li>Excellent use of the Greek and English language</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;Our Compass is the #ACTION#A_uthenticity#C_ompassion#T_eamwork#I_ntegrity#O_wnership#N_ever giving up&nbsp;&nbsp;What give us energy:<ul><li>Friendly and fast paced environment, being always at the heart of the #action</li><li>Continuous learning to empower our teams</li><li>Career Development opportunities across the Motor Oil Group</li><li>Competitive compensation package</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;*We @Motor Oil Group are an equal opportunity employer.Our hiring decisions are based solely on qualifications, merit, and business needs.
