We are looking for a highly skilled Site Engineer for the Construction of the Student Halls in Crete (Rethymnon) to join our team.Duties and responsibilities:<ul><li>Take full responsibility for the implementation of the MEP Works according to contract terms, technical specifications, and safety regulations</li><li>Manage&nbsp;the&nbsp;full&nbsp;subcontract&nbsp;lifecycle,&nbsp;from&nbsp;procurement&nbsp;to&nbsp;closeout,&nbsp;ensuring&nbsp;compliance&nbsp;with&nbsp;contractual&nbsp;obligations</li><li>Administer&nbsp;and&nbsp;oversee&nbsp;subcontract&nbsp;agreements,&nbsp;including&nbsp;fixed-price,&nbsp;cost-reimbursable,&nbsp;and&nbsp;framework&nbsp;contracts</li><li>Draft,&nbsp;negotiate,&nbsp;and&nbsp;manage&nbsp;subcontract&nbsp;agreements&nbsp;effectively&nbsp;to&nbsp;align&nbsp;with&nbsp;&nbsp; project&nbsp;and&nbsp;company&nbsp;objectives</li><li>Liaise&nbsp;with&nbsp;multiple&nbsp;stakeholders&nbsp;in&nbsp;a cross functional environment to ensure seamless contract execution</li><li>Track&nbsp;subcontractor&nbsp;costs,&nbsp;payments,&nbsp;and&nbsp;financial&nbsp;obligations&nbsp;to&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;budgetary&nbsp;control</li><li>Monitor&nbsp;and&nbsp;manage&nbsp;subcontractor&nbsp;performance&nbsp;and&nbsp;compliance&nbsp;with&nbsp;contract&nbsp;terms&nbsp;and&nbsp;industry&nbsp;standards</li><li>Ensure&nbsp;effective&nbsp;communication&nbsp;and&nbsp;collaboration&nbsp;with&nbsp;subcontractors&nbsp;and&nbsp;key&nbsp;stakeholders</li><li>Attend&nbsp;internal&nbsp;and&nbsp;subcontractor&nbsp;meetings&nbsp;to&nbsp;address&nbsp;contractual,&nbsp;financial,&nbsp;and&nbsp;performance-related&nbsp;matters</li><li>Prepare the project execution plan, method statements and quality plan</li><li>Set up the construction site and organize the site team</li><li>Provide management, supervision and oversight as primary responsible for ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and time-schedule/program as well as budget targets for the construction project</li><li>Prepare the project procurement plan as well as actively collaborate with the procurement manager in the procurement process</li><li>Prepare and issue weekly and monthly progress reporting</li><li>Ensure successful project completion until closeout</li><li>Undertake the by law responsibility as per building permit supervision requirements</li></ul>Job Qualifications and Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering&nbsp;or a relevant field</li><li>Minimum 20 years of professional experience in a similar role in Construction Industry (Building Sector Projects)</li><li>Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite</li><li>Excellent command of English, both written and oral</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams</li></ul>The Company offers:<ul><li>A competitive compensation package</li><li>Private medical insurance</li><li>Engaging and challenging tasks within large-scale projects</li><li>Opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth</li><li>A positive and collaborative working environment</li><li>Committed to providing a healthy and safe workplace for all team members</li></ul>
