Product Portfolio Manager

Implements and monitors all recruiting activities and processes for the assigned vessels according to the provided manning plan, in order to timely and accurately meet the requirements of vessels. Liaises with the crew, in order to identify potential training needs and support their well-being on-board. Ensure environmental compliance policies are upheld. It supports production readiness and day-to-day operations while driving continuous improvement and compliance.What you’ll be doing:1.Strategic Sourcing:<ul><li>Conduct market research and develop category strategies across direct and indirect spend (e.g., raw materials, production components, packaging, capital equipment, MRO, facility and professional services, IT and marketing services).</li><li>Identify, qualify, and evaluate suppliers; run RFI/RFQ/RFP processes and develop award recommendations.</li><li>Implement sourcing strategies that optimize total cost of ownership, quality, delivery, and sustainability.</li></ul>2.Supplier Management:<ul><li>Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and SLAs; manage renewals and amendments.</li><li>Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; conduct performance reviews using scorecards.</li><li>Monitor performance and address issues, non-conformances, and corrective actions.</li></ul>3.Procurement Operations:<ul><li>Manage requisitions, convert to purchase orders, and ensure on-time, in-full delivery; expedite as necessary.</li><li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, IT, Marketing) to capture requirements and support projects and new product introductions.</li><li>Maintain data integrity in ERP/procurement systems and ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and ethical standards.</li></ul>4.Cost and Value Management:<ul><li>Analyze spend to identify savings and value-engineering opportunities.</li><li>Track and report savings; support budgeting and forecasting for assigned categories.</li><li>Contribute to inventory optimization and working capital targets.</li></ul>5.Process Improvement and Compliance:<ul><li>Continuously improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.</li><li>Implement best practices and standard work; leverage digital tools to streamline workflows.</li></ul><ul><li>Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, ESG, and corporate requirements; support audits as needed.</li></ul>Qualifications and Skills required for the role:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field (Post Graduate degree will be considered as an asset).</li><li>3–5 years of procurement/buying experience across direct and/or indirect categories.</li><li>Proficiency with procurement and ERP tools and MS Office; SAP experience preferred.</li><li>Proficiency in Greek and English is required; additional languages are a plus.</li><li>Knowledge of procurement best practices, category management, and market trends.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.</li><li>Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management.</li><li>Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.</li></ul>Key Competencies:<ul><li>Results-oriented with a focus on cost, quality, delivery, and sustainability.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>High level of integrity and commitment to ethical procurement practices.</li><li>Adaptable, proactive, and continuous improvement mindset.</li></ul>&nbsp;We’ll provide:&nbsp;• A competitive salary• Private health insurance• Hybrid working mode• Opportunity to grow in a multinational environment
