Development of Faculty and Staff<ul><li>Supports faculty recruitment, hiring, and professional growth.</li><li>Assists in determining personnel needs.</li><li>Assists in developing the master schedule teaching assignments for the following school year.</li><li>Supervises the development of daily substitute schedules and evaluates substitute teachers in the Middle School.</li><li>Coordinates the revision of the teacher handbook.</li><li>Coordinates Interns in teaching positions.</li></ul>3. Curriculum Development<ul><li>Assists in the direction, supervision, and evaluation of the Middle School instructional program.</li><li>Supports the new course proposal process.</li><li>Facilitates the development of the Middle School master schedule.</li><li>Develops and monitors the faculty campus supervision schedules for before school, breaks, and lunch.</li><li>Collaborates with the MAP Coordinator to schedule and implement MAP testing in the Middle School.</li><li>Supervises extra and co-curricular activities at the direction of the Middle School Principal, with a need for after-school hours supervision (until the departure of late buses).</li><li>Attends and actively participates in Division Chair meetings, led by the Dean of Academics</li></ul>4. Student Life<ul><li>Implements and monitors the Middle School Student Code of Conduct.</li><li>Manages student attendance, interventions, and restorative justice practices.</li><li>Works closely with faculty and the Child Study Team to support student well-being.</li><li>Assists in health, safety, and student welfare initiatives.</li><li>Supports the Counseling Department to structure informative assemblies geared towards student advancement.</li></ul>5. Public Relations<ul><li>Acts as a liaison between the school and the community, taking into consideration the Golden Triangle as a model for parent-school partnerships.</li><li>Assists in organizing parent meetings, communications, and events as assigned by the Middle School Principal.</li></ul>6. Resource Management<ul><li>Assists in the planning and implementing of programs for the health, safety, and welfare of students.</li><li>Assumes responsibilities for the safety and administration of the school when applicable.</li><li>Monitors the maintenance of the school and school facilities; assist in the security of the building.</li><li>Assists in fire and earthquake drills.</li><li>Oversees faculty and advisors in the coordination of field trips, including budget, procedures, communications, and implementation of the Conscious Global Citizen model.</li></ul>7.
