Μηχανικός Τεχνικής Υποστήριξης & Εγγυήσεων

In this role you will execute service work with low to medium complexity in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. You will be in close cooperation with customers and other ABB teams, acting as the technical point of contact while delivering quality and satisfying customer service.Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing routine maintenance and on-site or remote technical support.&nbsp;The position involves travelling within Greece &amp; occasionally international travel, as you will have the opportunity to provide hands-on assistance at customer sites.You will mainly be accountable for:<ul><li>Performing service tasks such as installation and commissioning of equipment, identifying technical problems, making analysis through remote or on-site activity in different service categories (installation and commissioning, routine maintenance, extensions, replacements etc.)</li><li>Consulting with and advising customers on the best service solutions in accordance with standard processes, procedures and safety guidelines</li><li>Creating and maintaining strong relationships with customers, appreciating their needs and providing specialist assistance and solutions</li><li>Coordinating and executing specialist projects through planning, meeting milestones and regular reviews</li><li>Troubleshooting simple equipment failure and making recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future</li><li>Identifying opportunities to develop new service applications, equipment and methods &nbsp;</li></ul>Qualifications for the role:<ul><li>Electrical Engineering educational background (with License to practice)</li><li>Ideally, 2-5 years of experience in relative industry</li><li>Hands-on experience in servicing, maintenance, commissioning and repairing of frequency drives, UPS, solar inverters will be an asset</li><li>Sound knowledge of MS Office &amp; Outlook. Knowledge of SAP &amp; Salesforce, will be a plus</li><li>Driver’s license. As a Greek speaking&nbsp;Operational Risk specialist with experience in managing manufacturing and/or heavy industry operations,&nbsp;you will support our teams in the assessment and auditing of client sites as well as the delivery of coaching and training to embed cultural and behavioural change in the approach to process and work place safety.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Please note - this vacancy is not suitable for candidates with Operational Risk Management experience within financial services.&nbsp;We require experience in manufacturing, heavy industry, oil &amp; gas, or mining.&nbsp;Job requirementsWho are you?As a freelance&nbsp;subject matter expert, you can&nbsp;hit the ground running with complex safety projects with a demonstrable track record of coaching and training stakeholders at all levels within an organisation.&nbsp;You will also<ul><li>Hold a Master’s degree in Engineering / HSE / Business</li><li>Have at least 10 years of experience in Operational Risk Management &amp;&nbsp;Workplace safety training.</li><li>Have expertise in operational risk management, operations excellence, or sustainability within the Chemical, Oil &amp; Gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or Utilities sectors</li><li>Have experience in the management of change and embedding a safety culture</li><li>Be fluent in Greek</li><li>Have excellent communication skills and an entrepreneurial mindset willing to develop expertise in safety and operations management</li><li>You will be interested in working on a freelance basis, able to work on short and long-term projects without any guarantees of further work.</li></ul>
