We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance SAP Transformation Consultant to join our team, focusing on the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP finance solutions for our corporate clients. This role involves leading end-to-end SAP finance transformations, improving financial processes and controls, and supporting other finance related client projects. The key responsibilities of this role will include:<ul><li>Lead end-to-end SAP transformation projects, and provide guidelines for business requirements definition and solution design to implementation and post-go-live support</li><li>Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders (CFO, COO, Finance Directors), translating business strategy and operational needs into scalable SAP solutions</li><li>Drive business process redesign (BPR) initiatives, leveraging SAP best practices to optimize finance, controlling, supply chain, and operational processes</li><li>Bridge the gap between business and technical team (impementor), ensuring alignment between functional requirements, SAP configuration, and technical development</li><li>Define and govern SAP functional architecture, including integration across SAP modules and with third-party systems</li><li>Oversee SAP solution design and configuration with a strong focus on data quality, reporting, controls, and compliance (e.g. IFRS, group reporting, audit requirements)</li><li>Support ERP selection and SAP roadmap definition, including fit-gap analysis, effort estimation, and business case development</li><li>Mentor and guide junior consultants, ensuring quality of deliverables and adherence to consulting and SAP standards</li><li>Collaborate with project managers to manage scope, risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines across complex SAP engagements</li><li>Contribute to pre-sales activities, including proposal preparation, solution positioning, and client presentations</li><li>Stay up to date with SAP innovations (e.g. S/4HANA, SAP Analytics, automation tools) and proactively identify opportunities to create additional business value for clients</li></ul>To be successful at this role you need the following (hard and soft skills):<ul><li>Minimum 4+ years of relevant professional experience</li><li>A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field/ discipline providing experience in :</li></ul><ol><li>Finance processes analysis and reengineering</li><li>Accounting and costing principles</li><li>Auditing background with a business understanding and acumen</li><li>IFRS standards implementation</li><li>Financial Statements understanding and management reporting requirements</li><li>Cash flow and working capital requirements</li><li>Costing principles</li></ol><ul><li>ACCA/ACA qualifications courses or ΙΕΣΟΕΛ / ΜΕΤΚΕΛ postgraduate qualifications (in progress or completed) will be considered as an asset</li><li>Knowledge in Finance systems (ERPs or BI tools)</li><li>Commitment to providing quality work and building strong working relationships with clients and colleagues</li><li>Experience of working with multiple clients</li><li>Working in teams of qualified and highly motivated professionals</li><li>Effective communication and rapport building skills</li><li>Excellent analysis and data reporting skills</li><li>A good coaching and mentoring skills for younger team members</li><li>Ability to develop and deliver high quality services and solutions</li><li>A customer-centric approach</li><li>An extremely high work ethic and critical thinking</li><li>Motivation for career progression and development</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines</li><li>Fluent in both Greek &amp; English</li></ul>What’s in it for You?At Grant Thornton Greece, we believe that great work deserves great rewards! Senior Finance SAP Transformation Consultant

As a Financial Transformation Advisor, you will support organizations in optimizing and transforming their finance functions by analyzing end-to-end finance processes and identifying improvement opportunities through modern technologies and best practices. You will participate in ERP implementations (primarily SAP), contribute to the design of dashboards, KPIs, costing models, and controlling frameworks, and support financial planning, budgeting, and reporting activities.Working closely with clients and cross-functional teams, you will analyze financial and industry data, prepare high-quality presentations, and deliver insights that support informed decision-making.
