We work together to shape the future of energy and we focus on developing and empowering our people, cultivating their talents that will shape our future journey towards the energy transition.<h2>Starting with the role:</h2>Currently, we are searching to hire a Head of Planning &amp; Controlling who will manage the analysis and reporting of financial &amp; business data to support informed decision-making and operational excellence in the organization.<h2>During your day you will:</h2><ul><li>Be responsible for the annual budget preparation process in alignment with the company’s corporate strategy and information received from the units as well as for preparation of the deviation reports.</li><li>Review semi-annual PnL and Cash Flow rolling forecast to provide to the Finance Manager an updated estimation of the annual financial performance</li><li>Review and ensures accuracy the management reporting packages that include financial results and analysis, business specific information and variance analyses at Company and portfolio level</li><li>Review financial models in order to evaluate the business cases from a financial perspective</li><li>Present findings and develops recommendations for financial and operational improvements to the Finance Manager.</li><li>Oversee ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested by senior management to address specific business questions or concerns.</li><li>Oversee financial reporting processes and procedure to ensure consistency and compliance with internal controls and policies, as well as regulatory requirements.</li><li>Monitor financial data related to shops (revenue, stocks, cash) reconciliation process is properly performed</li></ul><h2>What you need to stand out:</h2><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or Business Administration.</li><li>At least 7 years of experience in financial or management reporting, preferably within the Retail sector.</li><li>Proven track record in analyzing complex financial data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.</li><li>MBA or master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field would be considered a plus.</li><li>Strong understanding of financial principles and business performance metrics.</li><li>Strong knowledge of data analysis methodologies and statistical techniques.</li><li>Familiarity with business intelligence tools and software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL).</li><li>Working knowledge of SAP functionalities and processes.</li><li>Excellent communications skills both verbal and written, in Greek and English languages.</li><li>Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc ).</li><li>Data analysis &amp; modelling skills.</li><li>Organizational and time management skills.</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;Our Compass is the #ACTION#A_uthenticity#C_ompassion#T_eamwork#I_ntegrity#O_wnership#N_ever giving up&nbsp;&nbsp;What gives us energy:<ul><li>Friendly and fast paced environment, being always at the heart of the #action</li><li>Continuous learning to empower our teams</li><li>Career Development opportunities across the Motor Oil Group</li><li>Competitive compensation package</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;*We @Motor Oil Group are an equal opportunity employer.Our hiring decisions are based solely on qualifications, merit, and business needs.
