Based in Athens, Greece, and reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will play a key role in leading and expanding the company’s international market presence by driving export growth.Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:<ul><li>Developing and implementing comprehensive export strategies to enhance the company’s footprint in existing markets and penetrate new international territories</li><li>Identifying and evaluating new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels to drive export growth</li><li>Building and maintaining strong relationships with international clients, distributors, and partners to ensure long-term collaboration and success</li><li>Analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to inform and adjust export plans effectively</li><li>Ensuring compliance with all international trade regulations, export laws, and customs requirements across various regions</li><li>Collaborating closely with supply chain, logistics, marketing and operations teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of products to international markets</li><li>Leading, mentoring, and developing the export sales team, fostering a results-driven and customer-centric culture</li><li>Traveling abroad frequently to meet with key clients, explore new markets, and oversee international operations</li><li>Any other task that may be required from time to time</li></ul>Professional experience &amp; qualifications of a successful candidate:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; an MBA will be a plus</li><li>Proven experience, at least 7 years, in a senior export or international business development role within the&nbsp;FMCG sector</li><li>Experience working across multiple international markets with an understanding of cultural nuances, consumer behaviors, and regulatory requirements to optimize market entry and expansion strategies</li><li>Strong track record of driving export sales growth and&nbsp;entering new international markets</li><li>Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite</li><li>Fluent in English and Greek (both written and verbal); proficiency in additional languages is a plus</li><li>Willingness to travel abroad frequently&nbsp;to engage with international partners and explore new market opportunities</li></ul>Core competencies of a successful candidate:<ul><li>Excellent communication skills; personable and engaging</li><li>Exceptional negotiation skills; proven ability to negotiate high-value contracts, pricing structures, and distribution agreements while ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes for all parties involved</li><li>Strategic thinker with a proactive approach and a can-do attitude; forward-thinking professional with the ability to anticipate market trends, identify business opportunities, and implement solutions that enhance global sales performance</li><li>Strong leadership skills; capable of motivating, coaching, and developing high-performing teams</li></ul>
