SUPPLY CHAIN ASSISTANT

We are looking for a strong Operations Manager to lead our end-to-end grocery operations from fulfillment to delivery. The role will also be critical in defining the optimal online grocery store operations organization in Greece. As a Wolt Market Operations Manager, you have full ownership of operations. You are leading everything related to how operations take place and are responsible for optimizing store layout, improving picking and packing costs, ensuring a great user experience, and providing leadership to our operational team consisting of Operations Team Leads, Store Managers and Grocery Associates. Four key areas you’ll always focus on are your operation's safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity.What you’ll be doing<ul><li>Responsible for the end-to-end grocery operation, from fulfillment to delivery.</li><li>Focus on the continuous improvement of your operation. Key focus areas include: safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity.</li><li>Hiring and leading are one of your main responsibilities, while you maintain a motivated team.&nbsp;</li><li>Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to managers and associates to optimize store operations and guarantee operational excellence.</li><li>Drive the creation of staffing plans, schedules, quality initiatives, process change initiatives, and other change initiatives to support and enable store managers to meet and exceed the Business Plan. There is always a high focus on productivity.</li><li>Review the work forecasts and determine your productivity requirements to produce during the day to meet the overall store/country objectives.</li><li>Define the optimal online grocery store operations organization in local teams.</li><li>You’ll work closely with other teams, such as category and supply chain. In addition, there is a close relationship with global operations.</li></ul>Our humble expectations<ul><li>Operations Management experience in a distribution environment. Experience in e-commerce or on-demand fulfillment is a strong plus.</li><li>Basic/Working knowledge of Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques preferred. As a company we've always prided ourselves on providing truly outstanding customer service&nbsp;and as the business has grown so has our Support team!&nbsp;As such, we need a Shift Planner (WFM) to take responsibility for shift scheduling and headcount planning processes within the Support team. You’ll need to be comfortable with working with data in complex, high-paced service operations environment. In this role, you’ll get a lot of help and support on the way, but is also expected to be an amazing independent contributor with an exceptional ability to execute every single day.What you'll be doing<ul><li>Create and maintain shift schedules for our delivery workforce using our WFM and BI tools and spreadsheets.</li><li>Monitor and analyze shift performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.</li><li>Collaborate with different teams to ensure staffing levels are optimized.</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of shift schedules, time off requests, and other related data.
