EPC Project Manager (m/f/d)

The&nbsp;Deputy Security Manager&nbsp;deputizes the Security Manager in ensuring the safety and security of passengers, staff, and assets of the airline.This role involves overseeing the documentation and implementation of security measures, coordinating with relevant authorities and third party security staff.The Deputy Security Manager also steps in for the Security Manager during absences and plays a crucial role in emergency response.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Assist in developing and implementing company’s security policies and procedures.</li><li>Monitor day-to-day security operations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.</li><li>Conduct regular security inspections and audits to identify, prevent and mitigate potential threats.</li><li>Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including law enforcement and regulatory bodies, to manage and respond to security threats.</li><li>Develop and implement emergency response plans and conduct drills and simulations.</li><li>Ensure compliance with national and international aviation security regulations (e.g., TSA, ICAO, IATA).</li><li>Prepare and submit security reports and documentation to regulatory authorities.</li><li>Keep abreast of changes in security regulations and update policies and procedures accordingly.</li><li>Lead investigations into security incidents or potential breaches.</li><li>Coordinate with relevant departments and authorities during security incidents.</li><li>Implement corrective actions and preventive measures following incidents.</li><li>Oversee the maintenance and operation of security equipment, including surveillance systems, access control, and screening devices where applicable.</li><li>Ensure a secure and positive experience for passengers, maintaining a balance between security and customer service.</li><li>Train accordingly SKY express personnel on elements within the perimeter of the Security Manager area of responsibility.</li></ul>Competences:<ul><li>Excellent leadership and team work skills.</li><li>Ability to assess and mitigate security risks.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and make decisions during emergencies.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Aviation Management, or a related field.</li><li>Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Protection Professional, Certified Aviation Security Professional) are a plus.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in security management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role within the aviation industry.</li><li>Strong understanding of aviation security regulations and standards.</li><li>Fluency in English (oral and written).</li></ul>Notes:<ul><li>Primarily Athens International airport-based, with occasional travel to other locations as required.</li><li>Full-time position with a need for certain flexibility in working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.</li></ul>About SKY express:We are the Greek multi-awarded airline for excellence and innovation in Europe, which is redefining the landscape of aviation.
