We work together to shape the future of energy and we focus on developing and empowering our people, cultivating their talents that will shape our future journey towards the energy transition.<h2>Starting with the role:</h2>Currently we are searching to hire a Grid Engineering Specialist who will be responsible for designing electrical grid systems, including substations, transmission lines, and distribution networks, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.<h2>During your day you will:</h2><ul><li>Design electrical grid systems, including substations, transmission lines, and distribution networks</li><li>Ensure compliance of grid systems and projects with industry standards, regulations, and safety codes</li><li>Support the development of detailed electrical grid designs and specifications</li><li>Stay updated on regulatory changes and incorporate necessary adjustments into grid designs and operations</li><li>Provide support during CAPEX calculation of grid works and assist in technical due diligence</li><li>Work closely with cross-functional teams across Renewables and Project Development Departments providing technical support to field engineers and technicians, and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders&nbsp;</li><li>Attend meetings with Distribution Network and Transmission System Operators (HEDNO, IPTO), supports the preparation of RFQs, and reviews supplier’s and contractor’s technical documentation</li><li>Develop and analyze electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints using CAD software and engineering tools</li></ul><h2>What you need to stand out:</h2><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering</li><li>Master’s degree in a related field is considered a plus.</li><li>At least 3 years of experience in the Renewable Energy Sector (Wind Farms or PVs)</li><li>Experience in power systems in relation to RES</li><li>Basic understanding of the technical components &amp; design considerations, of electrical grid, performance and O&amp;M practices in Substations and Grid Interconnections</li><li>Basic understanding of grid design principles, protection schemes, and automation systems</li><li>Excellent command of the Greek and English language (oral and written)</li><li>Very good knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Word and Excel</li></ul>
