We are looking for a passionate Senior DevOps Engineer to help us build and maintain a reliable, secure, scalable and efficient real-time platform, by combining software engineering and systems engineering skills. The Information Resources Management of the American College of Greece is seeking a full time Junior Systems Administrator to work as an integral part of the routine administration operations of IT department. Under the supervision of the Coordinator of Databases Management, the successful candidate will be responsible for the administration and support of the Student Information System (SIS)and various campus information platforms and systems that support the daily activities for students, faculty, staff, and administrators.Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>Train and support staff and users in the effective use of the Student Information System (SIS), ensuring they have the necessary knowledge to perform their duties.</li><li>Provide system-related support to staff across various departments, assisting with procedures, processes, and SIS-related tasks as needed.</li><li>Assist in generating reports from the SIS and related databases to support daily operations and decision-making processes.</li><li>Perform system administration tasks, including setting up new users, assigning permissions, uploading and maintaining data to ensure database integrity and security.</li><li>Test, communicate, and assist in implementing system enhancements, patches, and updates to keep the SIS and related databases current and fully functional.</li><li>Perform proactive monitoring of the SIS and related databases, identifying and resolving issues to sustain optimal functionality.</li><li>Configure and maintain the Salesforce platform, including:<ul><li>Developing, documenting, and updating procedures and standard operating practices</li><li>Managing user access (roles, profiles, permission sets, security settings) and conducting regular access reviews</li><li>Creating and updating reports and troubleshooting issues as they arise</li></ul></li><li>Assist in the implementation, integration, and setup of new systems, ensuring seamless connection with existing platforms and workflows. This includes:<ul><li>Supporting system configuration and data flows</li><li>Validating that integrations function correctly and securely</li><li>Collaborating with departments to gather requirements, troubleshoot compatibility issues, and support smooth adoption with minimal disruption</li><li>Documenting related procedures and processes</li></ul></li><li>Perform any other duty as assigned by the supervisor.</li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Computing Information Systems or related field</li><li>Fluency in Greek and English (oral and written)</li><li>Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft 365 and relevant numerical, data analysis, and reporting tools</li><li>No previous work experience required; related experience will be considered a plus.</li></ul>Required Knowledge:<ul><li>Experience with Transactional SQL</li><li>Familiarity with data management principles and data access technologies</li><li>Experience in Database Design practices</li><li>Experience with reporting and BI tools (preferable Infomaker, Power BI)</li></ul>
