We are looking for a highly experienced&nbsp;SAP Principal Architect&nbsp;to lead the design and evolution of SAP solutions within&nbsp;Vodafone Greece. This role will focus on aligning SAP architecture with telecom business processes such as order-to-cash, billing, customer management, and service delivery, while supporting large-scale digital transformation initiatives.&nbsp;You will&nbsp;operate&nbsp;across multiple teams, influencing system design, improving engineering practices, and ensuring our platforms can evolve with growing business needs. This is a hands-on leadership role that balances high-level architectural thinking with pragmatic execution.&nbsp;More specifically you will:&nbsp;<ul><li>Define and drive the SAP architecture strategy aligned with&nbsp;Vodafone’s&nbsp;business goals&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Lead system design discussions and drive best practices&nbsp;across SAP platforms&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure seamless integration between SAP and telecom systems (e.g., CRM, billing, mediation, network systems)&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Provide architectural governance, standards, and best practices across all SAP initiatives&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Support transformation programs including S/4HANA migration and system modernization&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate telecom requirements into scalable SAP solutions&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Lead integration strategies using APIs, middleware, and cloud platforms&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Mentor technical and functional teams, ensuring high-quality delivery&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory requirements relevant to telecom</li><li>Communicate with project teams throughout all project stages&nbsp;</li></ul>Who you are<ul><li>Computer Science or Engineering background&nbsp;</li><li>8+ years of SAP experience, including 3–5 years in a senior architecture role&nbsp;</li><li>Strong experience with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA and enterprise architecture&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Proven experience in telecom environments (operators, service providers, or vendors)&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Deep understanding of telecom business processes (billing, charging, subscriptions, customer lifecycle)&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Experience integrating SAP with telecom platforms (e.g., BSS/OSS systems)&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Strong knowledge of SAP modules such as FICO, SD, MM, and their telecom applications&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with integration technologies (middleware, APIs, cloud services)&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills&nbsp;</li><li>Working experience in agile environments/teams will be highly appreciated&nbsp;</li><li>Clear and effective communication skills in English (written and verbal)&nbsp;</li><li>Self-motivated and self-managing with strong interpersonal skills&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Fulfilled military services (for male candidates)</li></ul>Not a perfect fit?Worried that you don’t meet all the desired criteria exactly?
